"I am a psychologist, originally from Denmark, but I have lived and worked in the UK for almost 3 years now. I have a background as a mental health nurse for many years before getting my degree in Psychology and starting to work as such. I am fully accredited as a HCPC psychologist in the UK, and I have been working in both counselling and clinical settings since arriving here. I am trained in various modalities such as CBT, ACT, CFT and Psychodynamic therapy and I work as an integrative therapist. I have a particular interest in working with neurodiversity (ADHD and autism) and I have extensive experience in these conditions as I am also the mother of a young man with autism."
"I have now joined the UKIM team for the Medico Legal and Rehab sector, and it has been a great start. I work remotely as I am situated in Herefordshire but I am travelling to Durham from time-to-time to catch up with the team. I am thrilled to be part of UKIM and to be able to expand on my current skills as a psychologist via my role in the company. I find the Medico legal work very interesting, and I look forward to developing my expertise and experience even further with this. Alongside this, I hope to be able to apply my current skills and experience to maybe contribute to new development and upgrades of various procedures."
